Welcome to yeiateliery. We present and sell original artworks and art prints, and offer enquiries relating to commissioned artworks, framing and art licensing.

yeiateliery is the trading name used by KDWALL COMPANY LIMITED for this online store.

In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to KDWALL COMPANY LIMITED, trading as yeiateliery.

These Terms govern your use of our website and purchases from our store. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy before placing an order.

The registered address above is for business correspondence. For artwork returns, please contact us for the confirmed return address before shipping.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

2. Using Our Website

You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to place an order. If you are under the applicable age of majority, a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase on your behalf.

Please provide accurate and current contact, billing and delivery details. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and notifying us of any suspected unauthorised use.

You may not use our website for unlawful purposes, infringe another person’s rights, submit fraudulent orders, introduce malicious software, or interfere with the website’s operation or security.

3. Artwork Descriptions and Images

Each product page identifies the artwork offered for sale, including its materials, dimensions, price and framing details, where applicable.

An artwork described as an original painting is a physical original work. Art prints and reproductions are identified separately and should not be understood as original paintings. Any limited-edition status applies only where expressly stated.

Please check the listed dimensions carefully. Artwork dimensions and external framed dimensions are different and will be identified where relevant. Minor measurement variations may occur due to the materials and measuring methods used.

We aim to show artworks accurately. Colours may appear slightly different across screens and under different lighting conditions. Close-up photographs may emphasise brushwork, surface texture and other details.

Interior photographs, digitally staged images and room mockups illustrate possible display settings. They are not a reliable guide to scale. Furniture, decorative objects and display accessories are not included unless expressly stated.

A frame is included only where the product description or selected purchase option confirms this. The appearance of a frame in a room mockup does not, by itself, mean that it is included.

Natural variations in paint texture, canvas, wood and other materials may form part of an artwork’s character. These statements do not excuse material differences from the description, undisclosed damage or defects.

4. Orders and Availability

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected item under these Terms.

An automated order-receipt email acknowledges that we have received your order. We accept your order when we send a dispatch confirmation or a separate email expressly confirming acceptance, whichever occurs first.

Original artworks may be available in a quantity of one. If an item becomes unavailable, a material listing error is discovered, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud, we may decline or cancel the affected order. We will explain the issue and refund any payment collected for an order we cannot fulfil.

If a material price or description error affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding. You may accept the corrected details or cancel for a refund.

Changes to product listings do not retrospectively alter an accepted order without your agreement.

For order changes or cancellation requests, contact us as soon as possible. We will confirm what can be accommodated. This does not affect any applicable statutory cancellation rights.

5. Prices, Payment and Import Charges

Prices and the payment currency are shown on the website and confirmed at checkout. Applicable shipping charges and taxes collected by us will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion charges or other fees under its own terms.

For international deliveries, customs duties, import taxes and clearance charges may apply. Unless we expressly state that these are included or collected at checkout, such charges are generally payable by the recipient, subject to applicable law. Please review our Shipping Policy before ordering.

You must be authorised to use the payment method provided. Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

Promotions are subject to their published conditions. Price changes after an order has been accepted do not change the agreed price of that order.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Available destinations, shipping charges, order-processing times and estimated delivery times are described in our Shipping Policy and any applicable product or checkout information.

The operator’s registered business address may differ from the artwork’s dispatch location. Artworks may be dispatched from mainland China, as described in our shipping information.

Delivery estimates may be affected by customs clearance, public holidays, carrier disruptions and other circumstances. If a significant delay arises, please contact us so we can investigate and explain the available options.

For consumer purchases, risk of loss or damage remains with us until you, or a person you nominate, takes physical possession of the artwork, except where applicable law provides otherwise, such as when you independently appoint a carrier not offered by us.

If an artwork arrives damaged or an item is missing or incorrect, email hello@yeiateliery.com as soon as reasonably possible. Please retain the packaging and provide photographs where possible to help us investigate. This request does not shorten your statutory claim periods or remove your legal rights.

7. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

Our Refund Policy explains how to request a return, the applicable return period, return conditions, return-shipping arrangements and refund procedures.

For eligible purchases, we offer a 14-day period from delivery to notify us that you wish to return an item. Any longer period or additional rights required by applicable law will apply.

For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for direct return-shipping costs where this is stated in our Refund Policy and permitted by law. Returns involving damaged, faulty, incorrect or materially misdescribed items are handled separately in accordance with applicable law.

Please contact us before sending a return so that we can provide the correct return address and instructions. The registered business address is not automatically the return address.

Custom-made or clearly personalised items may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where permitted by law and disclosed before purchase. This does not affect rights relating to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.

8. Commissions, Custom Framing and Trade Enquiries

Commissioned artworks, personalised products, custom framing, trade purchases and licensing projects may require a separate written agreement or quotation.

Before work begins, the relevant agreement should specify the scope, dimensions, materials, price, payment schedule, estimated timeline, revision arrangements and cancellation conditions.

Any deposit or cancellation charge will be disclosed before you commit and applied only as permitted by law. Please do not assume that standard-product delivery estimates apply to a custom project.

Artwork purchases do not include commercial licensing unless expressly agreed in writing.

9. Copyright and Ownership

Buying an artwork or print transfers ownership of the physical item, subject to payment and the applicable sale terms. It does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights or other intellectual property rights.

Copyright remains with the artist or the relevant rights holder unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

Without the rights holder’s permission, you may not reproduce an artwork for sale, manufacture merchandise from it, distribute digital reproductions, or otherwise commercially exploit its image.

Website text, photographs, videos, graphics and branding are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders. All rights not expressly granted are reserved, subject to uses permitted by law.

10. Shopify and Third-Party Services

Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the technology that enables us to offer our website and online checkout.

Purchases from this store are made directly with the operator of yeiateliery, not with Shopify. Shopify is not the seller of our artworks and is not responsible for fulfilling our obligations under your purchase contract.

Payment providers and other third-party services may apply their own terms and privacy notices. Links to external websites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

Nothing in this section excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Privacy and Customer Content

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used and shared in connection with our website and orders.

If you submit a review for publication, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and reproduce that review for purposes connected with our store, subject to applicable law and any agreed restrictions.

You retain ownership of your content. We will not treat private correspondence or images supplied solely for a commission as unrestricted marketing material. We will obtain permission before using private customer photographs or commission-reference images in marketing.

We may remove unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or rights-infringing content. Reviews will not be removed solely because they express a negative opinion.

12. Responsibility and Consumer Rights

We are responsible for supplying goods that comply with the purchase contract and applicable law. Screen variations, artistic characteristics and delivery estimates do not remove that responsibility.

We take reasonable care in operating this website but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every technical error will be prevented.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for business losses arising from a consumer’s personal purchase, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any purchase contract are governed by the laws of the place in which the operator identified in Section 1 is registered, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

This choice of law does not deprive you of protections or rights to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction where applicable law provides them.

If a problem arises, please contact hello@yeiateliery.com with your order number and a description of the issue so that we can work towards a resolution.

14. Changes and General Provisions

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements. Updated Terms will be published on this page.

The version in effect when your order was placed will apply to that purchase unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

If a provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.

Any transfer of our contractual rights or obligations will not reduce your consumer protections or adversely affect an existing order.
