The paintings presented here are created by Huaxi  Yang,a painter trained in the academic tradition of oil painting.

His work explores portraiture, still life,and themes rooted in observation and cultural memory.

 Painting, for him, is not a performance, but a long and quiet dialogue with the canvas.

Through drawing, layering of paint, and careful attention to light,the painting gradually finds its form.
