Silver Profile is an original figurative oil painting by Yang Huaxi, showing a Miao woman in side profile surrounded by layers of traditional silver ornament.
The painting places particular emphasis on silhouette, structure, and surface. The silver elements create a sculptural rhythm around the figure, while the warm clothing provides a restrained contrast.
As part of the Miao Women series, the work reflects Yang Huaxi’s interest in figurative painting, cultural memory, and the quiet dignity of everyday human presence.
