qingyin is an original portrait oil painting by Yang Huaxi, depicting a Miao woman in profile wearing an elaborate traditional silver headdress.
The restrained composition keeps the focus on the figure, the layered silver adornment, and the quiet relationship between light, texture, and profile. Rather than creating a theatrical scene, Yang Huaxi allows the subject to remain calm and self-contained.
Part of the artist’s Miao Women series, this work will appeal to collectors drawn to portrait oil painting, figurative art, and original paintings that combine cultural detail with a quiet visual presence.
