Quiet Figure is an original oil painting by Yang Huaxi, depicting a woman with her head lowered within a softly painted interior.

The figure occupies only part of the composition. Much of the painting is given to muted walls, changing light and textured surface, creating a strong sense of stillness around the sitter.

Rather than treating the scene as a conventional portrait, Yang Huaxi allows the surrounding space to carry equal visual weight. The person and the room become part of the same quiet observation.
