Reclining Woman is an original figurative oil painting by Yang Huaxi, depicting a woman in a black dress resting horizontally across the composition.

Her reclining posture creates a long, quiet rhythm against the muted surrounding space. Rather than emphasising facial detail, the painting is built through the relationship between the body, fabric, light and surrounding atmosphere.

The restrained palette and relaxed pose give the work a contemplative quality typical of Yang Huaxi’s observational figure paintings.
