Shared Table is an original figurative oil painting by Chinese artist Yang Huaxi, portraying a group of people gathered around tables in a quiet interior.

Rather than presenting the figures as a formal group portrait, Yang Huaxi focuses on the natural relationships between people, objects, light, and space. Each figure seems absorbed in an individual moment, yet together they form a shared rhythm within the room.

The muted palette and restrained handling keep the scene grounded in everyday life. There is no dramatic event at the center of the painting. What remains is the atmosphere of people spending time together — working, talking, waiting, or simply being present.

This work reflects Yang Huaxi’s long-standing interest in figurative painting, ordinary human moments, and the quiet structure of everyday life.
