A figure walks carefully along a railway track, seen only from the knees down. The composition focuses on movement, balance and the physical structure of the rails beneath the feet.

Rather than presenting the railway as a broad landscape, Yang Huaxi narrows the scene to a fleeting human moment within an industrial environment. Weathered metal, dry grass and muted earth tones create a quiet setting around the figure.

The work reflects the artist’s interest in ordinary actions and overlooked places—moments that might pass unnoticed, but remain visually precise when closely observed.
